Note: The age limit is calculated as on 31st December 2022. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2023 consists of two stages: online examination and interview. The online examination will be conducted by IBPS on 27th August 2023 at various centers across India.

The online examination will have objective type questions covering four sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Professional Knowledge. The total marks for the online examination will be 200 and the duration will be 120 minutes. There will be negative marking of one-fourth marks for each wrong answer.

The candidates who qualify the online examination will be called for interview by the bank. The interview will carry 100 marks and the minimum qualifying marks will be 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the online examination and interview.

Officer Scale III (Generalist)

The exam pattern for Officer Scale III (Generalist) is same as Officer Scale II (Generalist).

Salary

The salary for the Officers in Scale II and III will be as per the pay scale prescribed by the bank. The approximate monthly salary will be as follows:

  • Officer Scale II: Rs.48,170 – Rs.69,810
  • Officer Scale III: Rs.63,840 – Rs.78,230

In addition to the basic pay, the officers will also be eligible for various allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Medical Aid, Leave Fare Concession, etc.

How to Apply

The candidates who are interested and eligible for the Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2023 can apply online through the official website of the bank i.e. bankofmaharashtra.in. The online application process will start from 13th July 2023 and end on 25th July 2023. The candidates have to follow these steps to apply online:
